The Pluto Story

The intergalactic journey to Pluto began in 2017, in a remote region of Mendocino County in Northern California's celebrated Emerald Triangle. Weed had just been legalized in the state. Small legacy farmers were rushing from the hills to engage in this "brave new world" of recreational Cannabis. On the Mendocino coast, a pair of indoor medical growers teamed up to form Sticky. With over thirty years’ experience, the Sticky partners brought their knowledge and passion for Cannabis to this competitive emerging marketplace. They enlisted Casey Bernsdorf, a generational grower and true connoisseur of the sacred plant.

Casey's obsession for discovering new flavor profiles and his connections in the breeding world led Sticky to a "gifted" collection of seeds from Seed Junky Genetics. The hunt led to the discovery of a true unicorn, a one-in-a-million terpene profile with a frosty, deep purple bag appeal. As smokers, we all want that flavor to last, and the unique Pluto character actually deepens as you burn down the joint.

Originally named Tart, Sticky showed this new cultivar to top names in the industry: Felix Murry and Kingston of GasHouse immediately recognized its potential, calling it one of the most exotic flavors they've ever experienced. GasHouse renamed it and the journey to Pluto was complete. Gashouse introduced Pluto to the some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop, elevating it to superstar status. Pluto can now be heard shouted out in tracks from top rap artists such as Lil Baby and Lil Durk.

In collaboration since 2019, Sticky and GasHouse have been producing Pluto on a small scale for only a select, lucky few. It's time to share it with the world. Sticky Genes has crossed Pluto with some of the most exotic strains out there today.
